2016 – Clan Wallace contributed $3,720 for the construction of the Bell O’ the Brae monument in Glasgow, Scotland. David R Ross’ original ideas for the Bell O’ The Brae started in 2009 and with the support of hundreds of individuals and organizations the monument was unveiled on July 9, 2016.
The monument is located on Wishart Street, just down the road from the Necropolis in Glasgow. The monument is dedicated to the skirmish between William Wallace and an English force under Earl Percy. It was a brief encounter; however, a significant event at the start of First War of Scottish Independence.
