A US Coast Guard Academy Graduate and University of Illinois Graduate, John served 4 Tours in Southeast Asia, (3 in Vietnam 1969-1972). \u00a0After that the majority of his career was served as a Civil Engineering Officer, including two major command appointments.<\/p>\n
As a Clan Wallace Society member, he served 15 years on the Board of Directors as well as 3 years as the society President.<\/p>\n
