Clan Wallace Council Member (#196) Herbert Halliday Wright of Annandale, Virginia passed away on June 28, 2008 at age 88. \u00a0He was a long time member of Clan Wallace Society (Worldwide). \u00a0Herbert was a native of Washington, D.C. and grew up at the Anderson House on Massachusetts Avenue. \u00a0He was a graduate of Western High School. \u00a0He apprenticed as a printer and worked for the Government Printing Office for over 45 years. \u00a0Herbert served on the Board of the Central Fairfax Services and was licensed as a Lay Eucharistic Minister by the Episcopal Bishop of Virginia. \u00a0He is predeceased by a son, Andrew Wright. \u00a0Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Ella H. Wright; children Catherine Ann Wright, and Frederick W. Wright and granddaughter Emma Seibert Wright. \u00a0Burial took place at National Memorial Park on July 3, 2008. \u00a0Donations may be made to the Catherine Ann Wright Fund at Central Fairfax Services, 6860 Commercial Drive, Springfield, VA 22151.<\/p>\n
