David R Ross&#8217; original ideas for the Bell O&#8217; The Brae started in 2009 and with the support of hundreds of individuals and organizations the monument was unveiled on July 9, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The monument is located on Wishart Street, just down the road from the Necropolis in Glasgow. The monument is dedicated to the skirmish&nbsp;between William Wallace and an English force under Earl Percy.
